I married Jim Burgess (Leland HS, class of '66) right after graduation. He was in the Marine Corps at the time, and after his military schooling in Millington, TN, he was stationed in Beaufort, SC, for the remainder of his time in the service. Upon his discharge we moved to Belton, SC, and we divorced in 1993. I have 2 children, a son, Jimmy, age 35, a minister in Hendersonville, NC; and a daughter, Jenna, age 34, a registered nurse. I have 5 wonderful grandchildren: Blake, 15; Garrett, 13; and Jada, 8 (these are my daughter's children); Avery, 14, and Kendall, 10 (these are my son's children). I will have pictures, of course!! |
