I am currently trying to arrange my work schedule so that I may attend the reunion. In case I do not make it, I want to say "hello" and let you know I will be thinking of you.I am thankful for the years I spent with you in Greenville and the friendship you showed me. It is so hard to believe we graduated 40 years ago. Times were much simpler then (although we didn't always feel that way). I am excited to read your profiles. Congratulations to each of you for your accomplishments. My life, too, has been busy. I have been blessed with three wonderful children: Erin Anne Hammett Smithhart (married to John and mother of John Martin, Samuel Douglas, and Elizabeth Hinton), Vernon Carey Hammett (married to Molly and father of Dan Henry and a baby girl due in January), and Marcia Hope Hammett (Hope) who is still single. You may remember I always loved children, and my dearest dream has come true in my children and grandchildren. I am known to the little ones as "Honeygram". I am blessed.
