William Woods College After decades of working for other people (mostly in health care marketing/public relations), I'm now happily self-employed as a freelance writer. My husband of 30 years and I raised two great kids (well, we think they're "raised" but sometimes wonder) and now relish in empty-nest peacefulness with our three dogs - Fred, Zippy and Newbert. Our home is in northwest Alabama on Smith Lake - the most beautiful place on earth. Free time is spent trying to catch fish and cruising the lake on our 1951 pontoon boat. (No, that's not a typo - the boat is almost as old as we are.) I've missed almost all of our GHS reunions for one reason or another but don't plan on missing our 40th.
