After college I went to work in Colorado for a large landscape contractor. Married Kathy in 1975. We missed the South after a few years and moved to Birmingham. We've been playing with rocks, water and bushes ever since. Three kids: Jody (married daughter) - Architect - Auburn - practicing in Portland, Oregon; Green (son) - working here for Landscape Services; Jesse (son) - MSU graduate spring 08' - now working for hunting guide in Alaska. I started easing out of the day-to-day operations of the company a few years back. Now I carry a cell phone and only go in to the office one day a week for a few hours. I do travel when Kathy can talk me into it (only once a year outside of U.S.). But mostly I stay around the barn with my "special interests". |
